Are you walking barefoot ?

Women and their love for shoes is legendary. There is no end to it. How could it be when there are so many varities available right from flip flops, peep toes, wedges to high heels to go with each of the dresses.

But in this mad rush of matching shoes with the dresses, we forget to look after our own heels. To wear any type of open shoes, its important that our feet should look beautiful too. Just by caring a little about your feet, you can make them healthy and as beautiful as your face looks.

The heels crack mainly because of dry skin. This means that the skin of your heels is lacking moisture. And this happens because your love for walking barefoot in summers and in winters because of cold weather.

What to do?
Every night before going to sleep, soak your feet in warm water for 10 to 15 minutes. Then scrub your heels gently with a pumice stone. This will remove the dead skin cells, revealing smoother skin. Rinse off your feet, pat them dry, then apply any foot cream or thick moisturiser. Lastly slip on a pair of old socks. Repeat this process for a few days and you will see the results.

If the cracks are painful, and the condition doesn't improve with an foot lotion, visit a podiatrist to treat the problem.

Simply by washing and applying a foot cream will do for people who only have dry heels and not cracked heels. This is a sure shot care regime which really works.

To prevent drying of heels, drink plenty of water and avoid excessive hot showers. With a good lotion and a little foot pampering daily, your heels will be well-moisturized and beautiful in no time.
